About the Second Company
The 2024 Second Company will offer opportunities to Acting and Technical interns.
Technical Interns will work in rotation in the shops under the supervision of technical staff and designers. Acting Interns are guaranteed at least one role in the five play Equity- mainstage season. When they are not in rehearsals or performance, Acting Interns will also rotate between production and administrative assignments. All Interns are also responsible for daily maintenance/clean-up of the theatre at the end of each day’s shift.
Please note: The schedule is demanding – on all – and hours are long. A summer stock season requires commitment and discipline but the opportunities to learn, grow and network with seasoned professionals are immense and rewarding.
Second Company Members are given a salary of $300 a week as well as onsite housing, and access to a communal kitchen. All staff and Second Company members are responsible for taking care of themselves and for their own meals. Due to the rural location of the theatre, a personal automobile is helpful but not required.
