Arts on Screen
The Peterborough Players is delighted to announce the 2015–2016 Arts on Screen Season. The MET: Live in HD will continue for its 7th season with us (10th Anniversary HD season with the Met) with eleven wonderful operas for you to enjoy. We will also be hosting London’s National Theatre Live once again this year, with at least four wonderful plays streamed from London to our big screen. For the second year we are proud to bring back a new favorite of the Arts On Screen: The Bolshoi Ballet on Screen. We will once again have seven beautiful ballets from one of the world’s top companies broadcast in the comfort of the Peterborough Players theatre.
At the Peterborough Players, the viewing experience is intimate. The stunning ultra high resolution cinematography allows the audience to see every detail and feel as if they all have an orchestra seat while sitting among friends in our comfortable theatre. The Dolby® sound is custom designed for our theatre and gives you breathtaking realism. For all three of our programs, the audience is treated to exclusive interviews with performers, directors, and designers — it is an exclusive backstage pass to some of the greatest companies in the world, at a fraction of the cost of a live opera, ballet or theatre ticket.
Tickets to our Arts on Screen programs will go on sale on July 22. (Met tickets available to Met Members on July 17).

Arts on Screen: Golden Ticket Subscriptions
Because of our increased program offerings this year, we are adjusting our subscription packages to give you more options to save. Now you will be able to pick and choose the operas, ballets and plays you wish to see for great savings! The more performances you attend, the more you save.
- Sign up for 6 or 7 PERFORMANCES and you will save $2 per-ticket to all events.
- Sign up for 8 or 9 PERFORMANCES and you will save $4 per-ticket to all events.
- Sign up for 10 or more PERFORMANCES and you will save $6 per-ticket to all events.
- On the order form, put a check next to all performances you would like to see.
- Choose how many tickets you would like for each event and add up the base cost of each.
- Total number of performances attending.
- Total number of tickets.
- Total full-price cost of the tickets.
- Use the total number of performances you are attending to determine your discount per-ticket.
- Multiply your discount by your total number of tickets and subtract that from your total to get the full cost of your tickets.
This new system will give you the greatest flexibility and the biggest savings on all different kinds of performances. For example, one ticket to 3 Operas, 4 Ballets and 1 National Theatre play would be $143 — a $32 savings (8 performances @ $4 off per-ticket).
As an added bonus: Any additional tickets you buy for these events will be yours at the discounted prices. If you signed up for 2 tickets to 11 Operas and wanted to bring a friend to one of them, you can get their ticket for $19.
Subscriptions can be ordered by mailing in the form on the PDF or over the phone starting on July 22. If you have any trouble figuring out the cost of your subscription, please just give our Box Office a call at 603-924-7585 and we will be happy to walk you through it.
